Report Grid tips

06/11/2017

The Report grid is your window into Scoop, it’s where you identify clients’ data that is worthy of a more in-depth review.

When you open Scoop use the shortcut on the opening page to view the latest Report grid. First stop, if you only want to see clients that you manage select the [Sort buy user] top left above the Grid and check the select box next to your name. Now you can review the Grid. NOTE: the default grid displays clients in descending A-Z order based on their Company name.

  1. Alerts: click on the Alerts column header to resort alerts icons to the top of the list. Click the alert icon to view the alert on the client review page.
  2. VAT Status: click on the VAT Status column header to resort the list. You should then see any warning triangles, flagging up any client’s that Scoop believes may need to register for VAT, at the top of the grid. Don’t forget that Scoop will only have access to turnover data for the current trading period. To produce this registration warning Scoop takes this year to date turnover figure and produces an annualised projection; if this exceeds the current VAT registration limit a warning will appear.
  3. Bank and Debtors: use columns headings to resort and review.
  4. Net (Profit)/Loss and Net assets: resort to view clients with largest losses and/or negative net assets.
  5. Review page: as you encounter numbers that don’t compute, or are worthy of a deeper look, click on the Review page [View] button.
